This recipe is for your sweet-tooth. It’s a healthier alternative to regular brownies. It still calls for cane sugar, so it’s not sin-proof, but it does have a significant amount of beans in it, so you can feel better about eating them!
Ingredients:
1 (15 ½ ounce) can of black beans (rinsed and drained)
3 eggs
3 tablespoons oil (I used grapeseed oil, but I am sure any oil would do)
4 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 pinch of salt
1 teaspoon of vanilla
¾ cup cane sugar
Directions:
1) Mix ingredients together in a blender/food processor until pureed
2) Pour into a greased 8 x 8 cake pan
3) Stir in some chocolate chips, nuts or leave plain (I have left them plain and they were still quite yummy!)
4) Bake at 350 F for approximately 30 minutes
5) Let cool completely before cutting
